Come and enjoy a unique camping experience at Welcome Woods Family Campground. We offer seasonal camping from April 1st thru October 31st. There are 100+ lots that are equipped with electric and water hookup. We have a nice shower house. Huge Oak, Maple, Ash and Walnut trees shade the campground. The lots are spacious on over 18 acres. We also offer primitive camping for those that like the outdoor sportsmanship feeling. Each campsite is equipped with a fire ring and we do have firewood available. Pets are welcome but must be on a leash at all times. The campground is located a half mile from the lake and the Moundwood State Park boat ramp, and near downtown Russells Point, Ohio. There are lots of opportunities for family activities after which your family can relax at one of our beautiful, quiet and secluded campsites. The park welcomes large groups, host for fishing tournaments, as well as large gatherings such as family and school reunions. We are also illustrated in the "Ohio Camper Magazine".

Watch for our sign on State Route 366.
We are 1 mile East of the spillway
and 1/2 mile South of Moundwood State Park boat ramp.

RATES ARE:

RV and Trailer camping:

$33.00 per night with electric and water hook ups for (2) people per night per *unit.

$6.00 for each additional person. Children 17 or younger no charge.

$190.00 per week. Electric included.

$330.00 per month. Metered electric.

$7.00 Honey wagon service.

*Unit means a trailer, tent, popup, truck or vehicle to sleep in.

Tent Camping

$23.00 per night for (2) people per tent. $6.00 for each additional person. $125.00 per week.

Children 17 years or younger no charge.

Seasonal Sites:

$1,000.00 per year. Metered electric and free boat storage.

Several sites available for the 2012 season.

Campers renting yearly sites will have access to the park from November 1 thru April 15,
However, the shower house and water will not be available.
