should be advertising on the Internet. A research project, conducted by Ball State University's Center for Media Design, tracked the media use of 350 people every 15 seconds. The subjects represented each gender, about equally, across three age groups: 18 to 34, 35 to 49 and 50-plus. The OPA-commissioned study also used census data to determine the spending habits of its 350 monitored subjects. Web dominant consumers' retail spending averaged $26,450, while the TV-dominant group's spending averaged $21,401. |

4/2/08 - I was just surfing the web for info on several lakes and
stumbled on this one. I have fished I.L. many times for bass, but never for eyes
(saugeyes) and was looking for info on how to do it and this one fit the ticket.
Again this is a great site, keep up the good work! Thanks. 2/11/08
- I have been working with Linda for 3 years. She is amazingly responsive and
creative when it comes to our web site advertising on Indianlake.com. Indianlake.com
is the number one web site that comes up in any search for Indian Lake. The web
traffic created by this positioning and by the web site itself, have been of great
benefit to S & S Fine Homes and Woodland Park Estates. We are delighted to
have World Wide Web Enterprises as a partner in our web site advertising. 12/23/07
- This website is a reliable source (for fishing information), sometimes postings
dwindle but when there is action on IL so do the postings pickup; so keep checking
in.As for the ice fishing, we have to wait for it. thin ice has been forming then
melting for a few weeks now.all we need is a cold snap and light winds for a solid
two weeks and it will be time.early or late ice is always best so try to plan
your trip with this in mind.areas that produce lots of panfish include long island,
blackhawk and lucy's pond.saugeyes can be taken at moundwood, blackhawk, and northfork;these
areas are slightly deeper and recieve current so be careful on the ice.there are
alot more spots but these are among the most popular.good luck. 9/22/07 - Very nice web site Linda, my husband and I have been trying
to find some kind of body of water to spend a few days nearby to celebrate our
22nd wedding anniversary and the idea of Indian Lake is very appealing because
of how nicely the web site has informed us of the entire area...........Thank
you and see you at the lake! 3-26-07 - Let's Talk Fishing web page. Great info guys! Thanks. I made a road trip to Cabelas Saturday and bought some Bomber Model A's and some Shad Raps. All I need now is to take my newly purchased used boat out on the lake and give it a try. I will probably try jigging for Crappies in April and then try trolling for Saugeyes in May & June. I am so excited I can't wait. For years I have dreamed of this but did not have a boat or the know how and thanks to you guys I will get to live out my dream and hopefully enjoy a Saugeye dinner or two along the way. Good luck fellow anglers and be safe. Tom Zapiecki Producer/Director WBGU - PBS Bowling Green, OH Hi, linda, Ray Halter here, Orlando Fl. don't know if you remember, sent you a picture of a BIG catfish, oh well, just wanted you to know you are doing a great job on the web site...just thought I would say hi. I used to come up there in the fiftys, when I was a young kid...Stay in touch.. Great job... I Go to site a couple of times a week...Bye Ray I grew up in Ohio and my family had a cottage on Long Island where we spent many, many weekends and sometimes longer. I currently am 56 living in FL and really miss the lake. I visit when I get the chance and this website really helps me get a feel for the place! Catfish Tournament - Just wanted to take the time to thank all those who helped make our week stay at Indian Lake great despite the heat. First of all, a big thank you to the empoyees and camper host volunteers who make the State Park at the Lake one of the best in the state. The facilities are always clean and well maintained. Second, we want to thank the wonderful people at Spend-A- Day Marina who made our first boating experience a fantastic and memorable one. They were courteous and professional in all their dealings with us. A special thank you to a young lady in their employment, named Cameo, who spent a lot of time answering all our questions and for taking care of a faulty stern light for us. Next, we want to thank all the sponsors of the 7th annual Catfish Tournament as this was the reason we came to the Lake at this time. We had many wonderful conversations with John, Paul and others working at the tournament check-in point. They were very helpful and knowledgable about the Lake and offer us many suggestions on how to overcome the poor fishing caused by the 90 plus temperatures every day. We bought bait at four different bait shops and found the people at all of them to be friendly, courteous and a pleasure to do business with. In fact, all the businesses that we shopped at while at the Lake were that way. Finally, we want to thank the charming, elderly lady that works at the Chamber of Commerce there. We were in there on a couple of occassions and she was such a joy to talk with. Again, thank you, one and all, for making our week so wonderful. We are already looking forward to returning for the 8th annual Catfish tournament next year. Hopefully, it will be cooler.John Rogers, Fort Shawnee Just to let you know how well received your web site is, here are the details: Two years ago, Jym Ganhal at channel 4 in Columbus displayed all the area lake water temps on Thursday and Friday so that everyone would know how to prepare for the weekend at their own lake. One night I noticed that Indian Lake dropped off the screen and he explained that his contact at Indian Lake was no longer able to read the floating thermometer mounted on his dock . After checking the new updates on your web site recently I noticed that the current up to date water temp was displayed through a link. I emailed Jym and let him know about www.indianlake.com he went to your site and low and behold he found it! He now displays Indian Lake along with all the other lakes in the area as he can check the water temp daily. This may seem like a small thing to most, but to me it is a milestone for viewers in the Columbus and surrounding areas that come to Indian Lake weekly. Thanks again for such a great web site, I hope you enjoyed this story! Wendell McCurdy, Westerville and Lake Ridge Island. Great website with good info and facts. We camp at the state campground every year and really enjoy coming to the community as it's a very friendly and lovely place. Be there for the 1st time this year in just 2 weeks now. Keep up the good work! Darrell and Alvia Roberts Cincinnati Ohio. I LOVE your website. You've got a lot of really
worthwhile info on it. The only suggestion I have is to try and get more area
businesses (i.e. the various seasonal campgrounds, restaurants, marinas) to participate
on this website and provide information about their services, etc. (This comment
is from the Feed Back Form) hello james here, ive spent alot of time at this lake my grandparent had a place at blackhawk in the late 70s. I completely enjoyed it, Now I have a family of my own we bought a boat from spend-a-day ayear ago, Im lookiking forward to giving them the same enjoyment I enjoyed. Thanks for this web site I enjoy it as much as i do the lake. See ya all in the spring. Hi Linda; I have really enjoyed the information you send to us about the lake. I was just wondering, we heard that Captain's Pointe" is going to build a hotel or something next to the restaurant. Do you have any information about that? We always stay at the Villa Motel when we come to the lake,... If this rumor is true, that would be great news. Any light you could shed on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Thank You! Linda: I enjoy the news of the lake, even I do live here, it is exciting to read . Thanks again. Jane Hi Linda, Thanks, you did a wonderful job with this web site. Sandy Hi Linda, |
