"There is a certain amount of romance and solitude associated with the water whether it be a lake, a river or the sea. ...We go to the water to find peace in its liquid motion, to find rest in its misty atmosphere and to find pleasure in and on its surface."
Over 30 years ago artist
K. Ernie Gronas built the first in a series of designs commemorating Indian Lake. Each is made by hand, one at a time. Even the small miniatures used to decorate the piers are handmade; signs, barrels, boats, etc. Each pier is signed and numbered. To create the antique atmosphere, antique materials are used and everything is natural.
