INDIAN LAKE FALL FESTIVAL RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR 2010

CRAFT VENDORS

LISTED BELOW ARE THE 2010 RULES AND REGULATIONS.

THE HARVEST FESTIVAL COMMITTEE WILL EVALUATE THE 2009 VENDORS FIRST.  THERE WILL BE A WAITING LIST FOR NEW VENDORS AND THEY WILL BE CONSIDERED IF A CRAFT SITE OPENS UP.

The Harvest festival will be SEPTEMBER 24th, 25th, & 26th, 2010.

·         Applications will not be accepted until APRIL 1st, 2010.  All returning vendors have a JUNE 15th 2010 APPLICATION DEADLINE.  IF A DEADLINE IS MISSED YOU MAY SIGN UP ON THE WAITING LIST FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR. NEW CRAFT VENDOR APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED AFTER THAT DATE.

·         Fees are $90.00 (Includes the registration and camping for Friday & Saturday only.) If wanting to set up the Thursday prior to the festival, the charge would be an additional $15.00, therefore, instead of $90.00, the check would be a total of $105.00. A check made out to I.L.D.C. must accompany the application. A confirmation letter will be sent to you after the JUNE 15 deadline. The registration fee of either $90.00 OR $105.00 is NON-REFUNDABLE, EXCEPT FOR THOSE CANCELLATION REQUESTS HAVING A MAJOR ILLNESS OR FAMILY EMERGENCY.  THESE REQUESTS WILL BE CONSIDERED BY THE FESTIVAL COMMITTEE. Grass vendor sites are $50.00 for the festival weekend. This fee must be paid prior to the festival and is also NON-REFUNDABLE.

·         The vendor ID Number must now be included with your returned application.

·         All booths must be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday, however, vendors can sell their crafts earlier or later throughout the festival weekend.  Once set up, a vendor may start selling.  Food booths and entertainment will be ongoing Friday night from 7-10 pm.

·         We continue to have problems with vendors, however, wanting to drive through the festival area during the event.  This creates both a safety hazard and an unpleasant experience to the visitor.  PLEASE NOTE: Vendors will not be allowed to drive in or out of the festival area between 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day (Sat. /Sun).  Make sure all your picking up and dropping off is done by then.  If you need a vehicle to leave the area, park in the vendor parking area outside craft area.

·         HAND MADE CRAFTS CONTINUE TO BE OUR #1 CHOICE FOR DISPLAYS.  There have been, however, several handmade vendor complaints vs. retail vendors along with general public visitor comments.   A majority of hand made items can be (mixed) with a small number of retail items brought to the festival. Retail items, however, cannot include any country of origin, and/or price tags from name brand stores.  No flea market displays will be tolerated!!
