  • Pleasure boats can not approach closer than 100 yards of any military vessel, 400 yds of any military bases or 300 yds from fueling docks on the river.
  • If you go into Canada, you now need to go through Canadian Customs ports to enter and US Customs Ports to return.

    The Indian Lake U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Station was officially certified on May 3, 1997 by the United States Coast Guard.
    Flotilla 08E0608 consists of 36 members that man the Robert Burns Memorial Station in Moundwood and a detachment at Grand Lake St. Marys serving the public on weekends from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

    There will be at least one Auxiliary Patrol Boat on the lake to assist boaters on weekends and holidays during the boating season (Memorial Day - Labor Day )
    We will have members at the Moundwood Station from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Holidays and Weekends - Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Stop in and say "Hi" and talk boating. 937-843-9506

    Auxiliary Marine Radio Stations monitor Channel 16 VHF FM for help on the water.

    Welcome! Everyone is invited to attend. Meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of the month - 7:30 to 9:30 PM at Moundwood, Coast Guard Auxiliary Station, State Route 368 Indian Lake Ohio. Anyone interested in becoming a member is welcome!

     

    Located at Moundwood, this wide channel provides easy access for the coast guard and the public. The Auxiliary Post is at the top of the ramp.
