The Chippewa and Western Neighborhood Outreach Centers would like to take this opportunity to invite your organization to participate in the second annual "Christmas in the Park" at the Indian Lake State Park. The event is a series of Christmas light displays set up by area businesses and toured by the community each weekend in December. This year the displays will be open to the public every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in December from 6 - 9 pm. We were very pleased with the support of the community last year in putting up displays and coming out to tour the displays. We had over 650 cars come through in the eight nights the display was open and raised $3400 to benefit the children and families in the Western and Chippewa neighborhoods. We are really excited about the possibilities for this year. Each participating organization will have a camp site to decorate with a Christmas theme of their choice. Members from your organization would be responsible for setting up and taking down your display of lights. You are welcome to set up any time that is convenient for you between November 25th and December 4th. We feel this is an event that will continue to grow every year and it is a unique way for your organization to get involved and help the local children and families in Logan County.
