2005 1st Place Winner - Clayton Crowden

Clayton was fishing with his son Corey. Corey was a 3rd place winner. They used live bait and fished in the O'Connors area. Clayton's catfish was 11 pounds 9 oz.

2004 Tournament Winner

John Hott was the 2004 Catfish Tournament winner catching 13 lb. 6 oz! Congratulations John. Pictured here with Randy Henson receiving the all important envelope. John caught the cat from his boat using cut bait. It was an early morning catch and his partner was sleeping. The thud of the catfish being hauled into the boat woke him!

Thank you Linda Bishop for these photos!
2003 Tournament Winner

This 15.28 lb catfish was pulled in by Donald Salyers of Lima on the second morning of the tournament. He and his partner fished until 2:00 AM the first day then got rained out. The pair started again at 6:00 am using leaches and fishing near Dream Bridge about one leder off the bottom. They had been catching carp frequently so they didn't get too excited when Donald got this one on the line until they saw the tail. Things got very exciting then. Winning this tournament qualifies Donald for a tournament in Tennessee in two weeks. He promised to keep us posted as to how well he represents Indian Lake. Donald's catfish is the largest one caught in the last 5 years of this tournament. In 1999 a 13.39 lb catfish was caught by Larry Fowler.
