The 28th Annual Fall Festival will be held at the Indian Lake campground on September 19th, 20th and 21st, 2008. This is one of the most popular events in Logan County with over 15,000 people attending each year. The Festival features over 100 art and craft displays including country crafts, woodworking, oil painting, iron work, quilting, applique shirts and cardigans, decorated herbs, floral arrangements, jewelry, toll painting, wreath making, crotchet work, and much, much more. All vendors offer their work for sale at a reasonable price. There is also plenty of local entertainment at the Festival. Area bands Razzmatazz & Jazz, B.J. & Billie, Jim Greer & the Mac-O-Chee Valley Folks, Roscoe & His Little Green Men, West Central Swing Band, Country Expressions and the Madriver Valley Dulcimer Group will play at their scheduled times during the Festival. A real crowd pleaser, Jo Anne's School of Dance, will perform on Sunday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. These young dancers clog, tap, and do all forms of modern dance. A square dance will be held Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. "Just Friends" will perform and "call" for the square dance. Indian Lake Park staff will have fresh apple cider during the Festival. Free samples are available for all visitors. Park employees also cook their famous venison stew. A long line forms around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday for this crowd favorite. Food is in ample supply during the weekend. The I.L. Chamber of Commerce, Kenton Coffee Cups, Indian Lake Community Church, & Knights of Columbus, are only a few of the many vendors providing a variety of sandwiches, snacks, desserts, meals, and beverages. On Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m., the Seedsowers provide an entertaining inspirational program for all faiths. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources will have wildlife, and parks display in the Festival area. Other attractions will be the Rescue and Miami Valley Care Flight fly-in and demonstration on both Saturday and Sunday. Hay wagons will take participants down to the festival area. The Indian Lake campground is located 2 miles north of Lakeview on State Route 235. Please make plans
