March 27, 2014 - Top of Ohio Patriots 9-12
7 PM at Ohio Hi Point - Meet the Candidates
In December 2013 a coalition of Tea Party groups in Ohio figured out a way to provide the voters of Ohio a unique opportunity in the 2014 Primary. We agreed to encourage as many citizens as possible to run for office against the candidates who are selected by the two parties. This will provide the voters an opportunity to select someone other than the internal party picks. As a result 30 new people will be running as republicians or democrats for State Central Committees, 700 will be running for County Central Committee and more than 100 for other State, County, and Local offices. On March 27th the Top of Ohio Patriots 9-12 of Bellefontaine will host a public Forum with two of these new candidates, Milo Schaffner and Cory Shankleton who are running against Cliff Hite for State Senator. Our meeting will be held in the main auditorium at the Ohio High Point Career Center at 7 PM on March 27. Please come and become part of our election vetting process.
